<p>Steam ironing plant comprising an iron (1) equipped with a heating sole plate (2) having steam outlet holes (3), a steam generator (4) communicating with the said steam holes, an independent water reservoir (5), an electric pump (9) including a casing (10) and a movable member (11) for entraining water between an inlet orifice (12) connected to the said water reservoir (5) and a discharge orifice (13) connected to the said steam generator (4), as well as a means (15) for treating the water, which means is particularly intended to remove the minerals from the water.
