The device comprises an inner and an outer guiding member for setting a passage on one side of a control member which controls the switch for the rotation-brush motor placed on a suction member, an extension rod for sliding in the passage on one side of the control member which controls the switch for the suction-motor on the main frame, and a hooking-lug on the end of the rod, thereby preventing the overheating of the motor or the rotation- brush by cutting off the motor control switch automatically when a suction-motor on the main frame is turned off.
