PURPOSE:To simultaneously perform plural kinds of grinding different in required surface roughness with one grinding wheel. CONSTITUTION:A grinding work part 16 to which CBN abrasive grains are bonded with a resin bond is integrally provided on the outer circumferential part of the base seat 14 of a composite grinding wheel 10. The grinding work part 16 is divided into a first grinding work part 16a and second grinding work part 16b different in grain size of CBN abrasive grains depending on grinding parts. The grain size of CBN abrasive grains in the second grinding work part 16b for grinding the cutting face 20 of an end mill 18 is fine as #350, and the grain size of CBN abrasive grains in the first grinding work part 16a for grinding a groove bottom part 22 and a back part 24 is relatively rough as #180. |
