PURPOSE:To obtain a phenol resin laminated sheet enhanced in punching processability, waterproofness, electrical characteristics or curability and suitably used as a printed wiring board or an electric insulating board by impregnating a base material for a laminated sheet with a resin component obtained by adding a specific component A to a specific component B and drying the impregnated one before laminating the same. CONSTITUTION:A specific component A is an alkylbenzene modified novolac type phenol/formaldehyde resin obtained by reacting a phenol compd. such as phenol or cresole used as a phenol source with an alkylbenzene resin such as a xylene resin in the presence of an acid catalyst. The obtained alkylbenzene modified novolac type phenol/formaldehyde resin is not cured alone but reacted with a resole type phenol resin to act thereon as a crosslinking agent. Therefore, this resin is subjected to the crosslinking reaction with a specific component B, that is, a drying oil modified phenol/formaldehyde resin to be cured. The resin component wherein the specific component A is added to the specific component B is infiltrated in a base material for a laminated sheet and the impregnated one is dried to be subjected to laminate molding. |
