PURPOSE:To provide a refining tower for an air liquefying separator in which circulation liquid can be stably supplied to a regular filler part of a packed type fractionating tower and a stable operation can be conducted. CONSTITUTION:At least one stage shelf type fractionating plate 5 is arranged in an inlet of circulation liquid, and a liquid distributor 6 for supplying the liquid to a regular filler 4 is arranged in a lower part of the plate 5. When the liquid is supplied from a condenser as another constitution, a condensed liquid level in a passage from the condenser to a circulation liquid inlet is held constant or a liquid reservoir is provided in a conduit for supplying the liquid, and a flow rate regulating valve for regulating a flow rate of the liquid to be introduced into a fractionating tower is arranged between the reservoir and a liquid inlet of the tower.
