The support has an element (6) which supports the slat and is connected to an element which is fixed to the bed frame. The support element is an angle plate which is joined to a sliding piece by a cross bar (5). The sliding piece moves in a cylinder (2) and rests on an elastic body. The elastic body has wavy walls, in its longitudinal section and is made in rubber and is preferably hollow. The cylinder has a longitudinal slot (7) through which the cross bar passes and its top end is closed by a cap.
