FOAMABLE POLYOLEFINIC RESIN COMPOSITION, CROSSLINKED POLYOLEFINIC RESIN FOAM AND PRODUCTION OF SAID FOAM

摘要

PURPOSE:To stably and simply produce a crosslinked polyolefinic resin foam satisfying various properties required in the foam such as skin strength, heat resistance, high temp. moldability or rigidity. CONSTITUTION:A foamable polyolefinic resin compsn. is obtained by adding 0.3-10 pts.wt. of a polyfunctional monomer containing polyvalent ally ester of polyvalent aromatic carboxylic acid and 1-50 pts.wt. of a heat-decomposable foaming agent to 100 pts.wt. of a resin component containing 40-100 pts.wt. of a polypropylene resin with a melt index of 0.5-12 and 60-0 pts.wt. of a polyethylene resin with a melt index of 2-50. This compsn. is crosslinked and foamed to produce a crosslinked polyolefinic resin foam.
