A dispensing device between an animal food magazine 11 and a food channel 12, comprising a feed-out opening consisting of a number of slot openings 14 defined by parallel bars 14a. A grate 25 substantially corresponding to the surfaces of the slot openings is vertically displaceable between the bars 14a such that, through the action of an arm 20 which is manoeuvrable by a domestic animal, it is displaceable from a neutral position between the bars 14a, in which it prevents the passage of food 26 resting on the bars 14a and the grate 25. The passage of food 26 from the magazine 11 to the food channel 12 is thereby made possible. The grate is set up to return automatically to the said neutral position once the action of the control arm 20 ceases. <IMAGE> |
