Street light fitting used for transition zones between illuminated and nonilluminated street sections, is a standard street lighting fitting in which the optical and electrical parts are not changed. Only simple replaceable means are used for ensuring a low light density with unchanged light distribution curve. An attenuation filter (3) placed in the path of the emitted light attenuates the emitted light uniformly. The attenuation filter is fitted within the transparent light bowl (2) covering the light source. This filter can be a single layer wire net or a sheet of perforated material. The filter shape is adapted to the bowl-shape. |
