摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain a snubber regeneration circuit, which can suppress a current increase at the time of turning ON GTO, by constituting the circuit so that it has a DC constant-current source connected between one terminal of regeneration diode and anode reactor. CONSTITUTION:In a DC constant-current source SUP, electric current being the sum of load current IL and DC IO flows through GTO when the GTO is turned ON, the load current IL flowing through anode reactor LA is interrupted when the GTO is turned OFF, and a snubber capacitor CS is charged with electricity via snubber diode DS. Then, when the GTO is turned ON, a reverse bias voltage is applied to the snubber diode DS and the current IO of the DC constant-current source SUP flows through the path of SS LA GTO CS DO L0 SS, which current path continues until the voltage VC of the snubber capacitor CS becomes zero. Further, the snubber diode DS is again conducted at the time of the capacitor voltage VC=0, and the current IO of the DC constant-current source SUP flows through the path of SS LA DS DO L0 SS and the SUP can be turned OFF at any time.
