PURPOSE:To prevent sinking of rear portion of chassis, in a rear wheel suspender for automatic bicycle having a hydraulic damper, by reducing the damping force caused by extension of hydraulic damper upon acceleration of car. CONSTITUTION:In a hydraulic damper 12 of a hydraulic buffer to be placed between the chassis of automatic bicycle and the rear arm for supporting the rear wheel rollably up and down, a piston 14 provided with a check valve constituted with an annular board valve 21 is inserted into a cylinder 14 encapsulated with operating oil while a piston rod 15 integral with said piston 14 is projected to the outside of cylinder 13. Here, a sub-flow path 24 communicating between the oil chambers O1, O2 at the opposite sides of piston 14 is formed in the piston fixing member 23 at the leading edge of piston rod 15 while a variable orifice 26 containing a needle valve 25 is provided in said sub-flow path 24. Open/close control of the needle valve 25 is performed through wire 9, pulley member 34 and rod 27 while interlocking with the operation of an accelerator grip 6. |
