PURPOSE:To obtain the signal multiplex transmission system with simple configuration and suited to a transmission line whose band is limited. CONSTITUTION:A sampling frequency converter having a variable band pass filter function is used as a TDM-FDM mutual converter 14, a transmitter 10 converts the TDM multiplexing signal into the FDM and the result is given to a receiver 12 via an FDM transmission line 11, in which the FDM signal is converted into a TDM by a converter 15 and processed by a signal demultiplexer 16. Thus, the multiplex system conversion with optional multiplex number without a limit of the sampling frequency is attained, the degree of design freedom of the signal multiplex transmission system is considerably improved and the configuration is simplified. |
