PURPOSE:To make a mute correction in case a transfer error occurred in the voice information sent from a mobile station to a base station. CONSTITUTION:The digital cordless telephone system transferring voice information converted into ADPCM code to a mobile station 1, base station 2, and exchange 3 is provided with a detection means 23 detecting transfer errors and a multiplex means 24 multiplexing maintenance information K for the voice information of the ADPCM code. The exchange 3 is provided with a detection means 32 detecting the maintenance information K and a correction means 34 correcting the voice information converted into the code other than the ADPCM code at the time of detection. When an error occurs, the base station 2 detects it to be sent to the exchange 3 by means of the maintenance information K. The exchange 3 corrects the voice information after being converted into the cord other than the ADPCM code.
