<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the local supply of an organic substance and dissolved oxygen to microorganisms by introducing the waste water into a filter bed vessel which can be tilted and packed with a filter medium at the inside, and purifying with the microorganism in the filter bed vessel. CONSTITUTION:Since a supporting shaft 49 of a filter bed vessel 25 is provided at a position so that the centroid of the filter bed vessel 25 may be moved to a water discharge part 39b in accordance with an increase in the amt. of water to be stored, the filter bed vessel 25 is tilted in the direction A while receiving the water to be treated when the centroid passes the position of the supporting shafts 49 and 49, and hits against a shock absorbing member 51 at the lower part while discharging the water to be treated into the filter bed vessel 25 at the lower stage from the water discharge part 39b. When the water to be treated is discharged, the filter bed vessel 25 is tilted back to the original position in the direction opposite to A because the centroid returns to the original position, and hits against a shock absorbing member 55 at the rear part. The water to be treated passes through a desired number of the filter bed vessels 25 by the repetition of the tilting, and the purified water is discharged into a catchwater.</p> |
