The dismantling room is limited on the left by sluices (3), through which the parts of the broken installations and materials reach the adjoining room via a conveyor belt (4). On the right-hand side the dismantling room is limited by a wall (7) with openings (8), through which emissions arising during dismantling can be sucked away by a filter unit (9). Dismantling is done by personnel who extend both arms through air veils(10). In the upper area of the dismantling room spray nozzles (11) are installed which spray water and a ceramic pulp into the room, preventing dust and fibre emissions. USE/ADVANTAGE - To dismantle material contg. asbestos without harm to operative personnel, recover metallic materials for recycling, and disposing of the asbestos by burning.
