One joint body end is a ball (32) and the other one a joint shell (30). The ball pref. has the higher resistance. The ball may be thicker between its outer face and the inner opening than the thickness of the shell between its inner and outer faces. The ball can be made of a harder material than the shell. A central cylindrical extension can connect the ball to the shell,and the ball and shell can be two separate parts.
