PURPOSE: To open a locking device, and simultaneously to release the branch of a band, so that a watch can be quickly removed from a wrist. CONSTITUTION: A locking device 10 is made up of an arm 12, and two opposite arms 14 having a hook 18 that is designed so as to be inserted into a central latch 20. In the latch 20, the underside thereof is restricted by a base, and the upper side thereof is restricted by a transverse piece 30. In the inside of this latch 20, a movable plate 28 having both side openings 32, 36 and a central opening is fitted in a slidable manner. The central opening receives a spring, while both the side openings 32, 36 are engaged with the hooks 18 of the arms 14. The end 28' of the movable plate 28 is outwardly, artificially pulled, and nearly simultaneously with this, the release of the arm 14 being connected to the branch of the band is caused. |
