摘要 PURPOSE:To prevent an increase in a speed change shock by equipping a control device with a friction coefficient variation detecting means for detecting variation of the coefficient of friction of a friction joint element, and a correcting means for changing the set speed ratio to the direction of eliminating the influence of the variation according to the variation of the coefficient of friction detected by said friction coefficient variation detecting means. CONSTITUTION:A control device is equipped with an input rotation speed detecting means 1 and an output rotation speed detecting means 2 for detecting the rotation speed of input/output shafts of a gear speed change mechanism a speed ratio calculating means 3 for calculating the actual speed ratio of the input shaft to the output shaft based on signals from the input/output rotation speed detecting means 1, 2 and a solenoid changing means 4 for switching an on-off device of the solenoid to the condition after the speed change when the actual speed ratio varies and reaches to the value previously set at each converter drive position. Variation of the coefficient of friction of a friction joint element is detected by a friction coefficient variation detecting means 5, and the set speed ratio 6 is changed by a correcting means 7 to the direction of eliminating the influence of this variation according to the variation of the coefficient of friction detected by the friction coefficient variation detecting means 5.
