PURPOSE:To obtain an image-center measuring apparatus, which can adequately measure the position of the center of an image even if a missing part is present in the image of an object and to obtain a fitting device, which can fit another body into the recess part of one body. CONSTITUTION:An image-center measuring apparatus 10 is constituted of a TV camera 5 and an image processing device 6. The central position is measured for the image part of each lead inserting hole of a substrate 1. A position determining device 4 aligns the position of the lead of an electronic component 2 for the lead inserting hole. Then, a working device 7 inserts the lead of the electronic component 2 into the lead inserting hole. The image-center measuring device 10 performs raster scanning for the image part of the lead inserting hole in the orthognally intersecting two directions and measures the coordinates of the central position. In this measurement, only the measured data for the image part other than the missing part are selected and used for the computation of the coordinates. |
