PURPOSE:To obtain the smooth tension control system of a rotary press by combining a drag roller having a specific metal oxide powder applied to the surface thereof by flame spraying and a guide roller made of carbon fiber reinforced plastic to control the tension of a web. CONSTITUTION:The roller cell 22 of a guide roller 21 is formed from carbon fiber reinforced plastic obtained by impregnating carbon fiber cloth with an epoxy resin. A flame spraying film is formed on the surface of the roller main body of a drag roller 23 by the flame spraying of an Al2O3 or Cr2O3 powder so that the max. height is 40-70mumRmax, average roughness is 5-10mumRa and the number of projections is 40-60/cm. This drag roller 23 is adapted to the drag roller on the outlet side of a turn bar device and the drag roller of the triangle plate inlet of a folding machine. |
