Inflatable and load-bearing structure for the construction of buildings

The structure comprises an inflatable shell formed by an upper membrane (12) and a lower membrane (14) which are joined hermetically in order to form a first inflatable pressure chamber (16). A second inflatable pressure chamber (18) is fixed to the base of the said first pressure chamber. The pressure chambers are made of a material enabling them to be used as support and formwork in the construction of buildings made from hardening material. The first pressure chamber is inflated to a pressure (P1) which is less than that of the second pressure chamber. <IMAGE>
