PURPOSE:To measure the direction and velocity of the wind by detecting the earth speed.course of a moving body by radar and utilizing the predetermined standard speed.course of the moving body. CONSTITUTION:When the kind.advance route 18 of a moving body is inputted to a moving body data processing part 19 from an external data input part 17, a standard speed.course is calculated by a standard speed.course corresponding table 2. The moving body data processing part 19 further inputs tracking data 16 such as the position.course.speed of the moving body to obtain the observed speed.course of the moving body and the standard speed.course thereof. The difference of speed.course between both of them is calculated by accumulating a plurality of the data related to the moving body to obtain the direction and velocity of the wind within the range over the entire monitor area of radar. |
