<p>PURPOSE:To aquire high joining strength, to reduce the number of parts by omission of a connecting bolt and to lighten a caliper body by mutually joining separated bodies by electronic beam welding in the caliper body constituted by mutually joining a plural number of the divided bodies. CONSTITUTION:In the case when a caliper body 4 is applied to a pin slide type caliper free to move in the axial direction of a disc rotor 3 through 8 sliding pin, the caliper body 4 is constituted in divided structure of an action side divided body 5 made of light metal such as aluminium arranged on one side of the disc rotor 3 and a reaction part side divided body 6 made of cast iron or the like arranged on the other side of the disc rotor 3. A cylinder hole 5a is formed on the action side divided body 5 and a piston 7 is fitted therein, and a bridge part 6a and a reaction claw 6b straddling the outer periphery of the disc rotor 3 are formed on the reaction part side divided body 6. Thereafter, both of the divided bodies 5, 6 are joined together by forming an alloy layer 8 melted by electronic beam welding on their connection faces 5b, 6c.</p> |
