Floor drain with additional water lock

There is a great problem with floor drains 1 having existing water locks 2 which give off a foul smell on account of the fact that the water lock 2 leaks waste water back or is easily drained. It is costly to remove the floor surface in order to correct these faulty floor drains 1. According to the invention, this can be done more simply by means of an additional water lock 3 being fitted in the floor drain 1. This water lock 3 has a higher leaking level B than the level A of the existing water lock.
