PURPOSE:To provide the subject article which is excellent in weather resistance and thermal stability and maintains high tensile strength and modulus for a long term even when produced by a process contg. a diluent extraction step. CONSTITUTION:The objective article is prepd. by molding and stretching a compsn. comprising 3-80 pts.wt. ultrahigh-mol.-wt. polyolefin having an intrinsic viscosity [eta] of 5-40dl/g and 97-20 pts.wt. diluent and coating the surface of the resulting molded article with a stabilizer.
