PURPOSE:To prevent necessary information for a retrial from being destroyed in the case of a shift path fault when a shift path for logging-out processing in the case of a fault occurring to an information processor is used. CONSTITUTION:This shift path controller includes a 1st flip-flop group which holds information required to set check points for the retrial in the case of the fault on one shift path and a 2nd flip-flop group other than the 1st group. This one shift path has a mode which is constituted only by the 2nd flip-flops and a mode including both 1st and 2nd flip-flop groups. Further, a switching circuit 3 switches those modes. For the logging-out processing, the normalcy of shift operation is checked only by the 2nd flip-flop group and when the operation is normal, the 1st and 2nd flip-flop groups are both shifted. Consequently, the necessary information for the retrial in the case of the shift path fault is prevented from being destroyed. |
