<p>PURPOSE:To provide an radar antenna device which gives a high gain and a narrow beam width during transmitting, and gives a low side lobe during receiving. CONSTITUTION:First and second rectangular waveguides 20, 30 are stacked each upon another in two stages, and are laid horizontally. A plurality of first slots 22, 22... are formed in an E surface of a first rectangular guide wave 20, being inclined in different directions, alternately with, respect to the vertical direction so that the distribution of the openings thereof is made to be uniform, and accordingly, a transmitting E-surface slot array antenna is formed. Further, a plurality of second slots 32, 32... are formed in an E surface of the second rectangular antenna 30, being inclined in different directions with respect to the vertical direction, in a tailor distribution in which the near the edged, the smaller the distribution of the openings thereof so as to have a low side lobe, and accordingly, a receiving E-surface slot antenna is formed.</p> |
