PURPOSE:To allow a converter and an inverter to cooperatively operate by making the converter to maintain reactive power on its input side and the voltage of a DC circuit at specific values and the inverter to maintain reactive power and active power on its output side at specific values. CONSTITUTION:When the active power among the outputs of an inverter 5 changes, the voltage of a DC circuit changes and a circuit which controls a DC voltage to a fixed level of the controller 31 of a converter 3 is actuated and changes active power on the input side of the converter 3 so as to make the DC voltage of the DC circuit 10 constant. On the other hand, when the active power of the power inputted to the converter 3 side and the DC voltage of the circuit 10 change, the circuit which controls active power to a fixed level of the controller 51 of the inverter 5 returns to a stable operating point by changing the AC voltage outputted from the inverter 5. Since both converters are stably operated in a cooperative state in such way, a DC power transmission device constituted of self-excited converters can be stably and efficiently operated. |
