A ventilator (10) has a hub (14) which fits onto and rotates around a central shaft. Vanes (30) for creation of out flow during ventilator (10) rotation are connected to the hub (14) by elastic mountings. The ventilator components are moulded in PP, PBT, PET, PVDDF or a polyamide e.g. PA 6.6. The polymer is pref. reinforced with a fibrous or powdered filler. USE/ADVANTAGE - For air ventilation, e.g. of electric motors used in high pressure piston pumps. Cheap, simple construction with long life.
