PURPOSE:To reduce operator's signal merging work. CONSTITUTION:A discrepant signal name detecting means 6 detects a discrepant I/O signal name between a test pattern and a circuit and displays the detected result on a discrepant signal name display means 7, a signal merging work selecting/specifying means 8 selects and specifies the corresponding, adding and erasing work of the I/O signal name to/from the test pattern and a signal merging processing executing means 9 applies processing corresponding to respective working contents selected and specified by the means 8 to the test pattern having the discrepant I/O signal name. Said processing is applied to plural simulation test patterns in each circuit, a strobe point corresponding to an output signal newly added to the test pattern side is selected from already formed output signals and set up and processing for defining the input timing of the newly added input signal is started. |
