The sash frame firmly holds a sunshade sheet in place to stretch it in tension and keep a neat look. The frame (1) is extrusion- formed to have a polyhedral section and also have a channeled top wall provided with flanges on the edges of the channel opening to receive a separate insert member (10) having a neck portion (12) to be clamped by the channel flanges (3) with a sunshade sheet placed in the channel (2) to be held under pressing by the member (10), whose side edges (11) act as a seal member.
