PURPOSE:To protect the privacy of a user by displaying only received notice information when a receiver receives identification information and message information and displaying information under a condition which the user desires by means of the operation of a display instruction means. CONSTITUTION:When the receiver receives a call number and message information from a caller, a call tone is transmitted from a speaker 4. Message information is not displayed on a display screen 1 and a reception mark 2 is displayed as reception notice information. The user recognizes the reception of message information by the mark 2, and a received message is displayed on the screen 1 when a message display key 3 is depressed at a place and time which the user desires. Since the receiver stores the call number and message information, which are received in a memory, the key 3 is depressed at user's convenience and he can view then for any number of times. Thus, the privacy of the user can be protected. |
