PURPOSE:To compare data in a short time while suppressing the amount of data by decomposing two graphic data into standardized patterns after developing the hierarchical structure, and comparing those data after the part of repeated patterns is transformed into an Array description and hierarchically structured. CONSTITUTION:Two graphic data 1 are read by a reading means 2 and turned to data in flat structure by a hierarchical developing means 3. Next, those data are decomposed by a pattern dividing means 4, the pattern part is searched by a repeated pattern searching means 5, and the found-out repeated pattern part is transformed into pattern data by an Array description transforming means 5a. Afterwards, the data are hierarchically structured by a graphic hierarchizing means 6, and it is decided whether data are compared while being divided into areas or are compared simultaneously without being divided. When comparing those data while dividing them into area, patterned data are compared with mask plotted data and in the case of batch comparison, two pattern data are compared. Finally, the different part of regenerative data is processed by a display processing means 9 and outputted to a display means 10. |
