PURPOSE:To obtain a photosensitive planographic printing plate which can be treated by alkali development and has high liposensivity and good depositing property of ink for printing. CONSTITUTION:This photosensitive planographic printing plate is obtd. by dissolving a negative photosensitive compsn. containing a diazo resin, binder, and copolymer having the structural unit expressed by formula in a coating solvent, applying the obtd. soln. on a supporting body having a hydrophilic surface, and then drying. The coating solvent contains 5-40wt.% 1-methoxy-2- propanol (a) and 2-20wt.% methyl lactate (b). In formula, R<1> is a methyl group, ethyl group, methoxy group, ethoxy group or aryl group, and R<2> and R<3> are alkyl groups or aryl groups having 2-20 carbon number which may be same or different. Proportions of A, B, C and D are 20-80mol%, 20-80mol%, 0-20mol%, and 0-20mol%, respectively. |
