The line, for hanging out washing in order to dry it, is made from plastics and has a hollow rectangular cross-section with a longitudinal slit which extends over the whole length of the line on one side of the section. Transverse slots, equally spaced along the length of the line are formed in the side opposite to the longitudinal slit. Each end of each transverse slot runs into a V shaped opening cut in the other two opposite sides. These slots and openings enable the line to be bent to circular form and held in that form by a sleeve (17). USE/ADVANTAGE - The line, when bent to circular form, is particularly useful for holding curtains out to dry.
