The thermal generator plant has an IC engine, generator, steam circuit and heat recovery. The freon circuit has a compressor, evaporator, control switch and a pipe leading through the evaporator where the freon, on its return to the gaseous state from a combined hot water heater/condenser is expanded via an expansion valve. Freon flows through the evaporator combined with the IC engine and absorbs the heat of the engine's exhaust gases. It is then compressed with heating and subsequently releases its heat to the feed water used in a steam piston engine/generator unit. After the water heater, freon passes through a filter-drier and back again to the expansion valve. ADVANTAGE - Improved overall cycle efficiency.
