<p>PURPOSE:To prevent oblique feeding, mis-feeding, image contamination, etc., by hooking a cleaning sheet to a paper feeding tray to clean a paper feeding roller. CONSTITUTION:An L-shaped projection 7a is provided movably up and down roughly at the center of a multi-tray 7. Also a cleaning sheet in which a hole aligned with the position of the projection 7a is placed on the tray by hooking it to the projection 7a protruded upward. If a print switch is pressed, for example, under this condition, a paper feeding roller 31 will be rotated to feed the cleaning sheet, but the cleaning sheet will not move because it is hooked to the projection 7a, and the roller 31 will rotate on the sheet to clean the surface of the roller. The cleaning operation of the paper feeding roller 31 is continued for a predetermined time and, upon the rotation of the paper feeding roller 31 is stopped, the projection 7a is moved back to complete the cleaning.</p> |
