<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the unfeeding jam of a sheet which is liable to occur when a stacked sheet is curled. CONSTITUTION:A side guide 26 for guiding a sheet S placed on a elevating tray 20 is supported elevatingly and energized downward by a coil spring 27. When the sheet S curls in the direction orthogonally crossing the paper feed direction when the sheet S is guided and fed by the side guide 26, the side guide 26 is retracted upward by receiving push up force by the sheet S.</p> |
