PURPOSE: To enable to correctly monitor remaining ink quantity in a spring-bag cartridge. CONSTITUTION: A spring ink bag 11 containing ink is provided in the surrounding wall of a cartridge, the spring ink bag 11 is pressed by a compression spring 20 through a panel body 18 with negative pressure maintained. At the opposite side of the spring ink bag 11, a strip 13 with an index is provided, which moves on the surrounding wall to indicate remaining ink quantity as a sidewall 11a of the ink bag shrinks with the reduction of ink in the ink bag. |
