PURPOSE: To provide a surgical needle suitably used for an endoscope and other surgical operations by making the surgical needle of a shape memory alloy, inserting the same through a long extended tube in a low temperature shape and producing a predetermined arc in a high temperature shape to be properly used as the surgical needle. CONSTITUTION: A needle 10 is made of a shape memory alloy having first low temperature and second high temperature shapes, this needle 10 is formed to be a long extended shape to be put through a long extended tube in the low temperature shape, a predetermined arc is produced in the high temperature shape and thus the needle is formed to be suitably used as a surgical needle. For introducing the bent needle 10 into the surgical part of a patient, by inserting a cannula 14 into the patient, approaching the surgical part from the outside of the patient is made, a memory alloy needle formed to be extended long in the first low temperature shape is prepared, this is put through the cannula 14, this alloy is heated to change to the second high temperature shape and returned to the arc shape. |
