<p>PURPOSE:To realize repairing of high reliability, in repairing an existing gas pipe having a water removing part on the way thereof, by protecting the part positioned in the water removing part of the hard plastic tube inserted in the existing gas pipe by the filler received in the water removing part. CONSTITUTION:When an existing pipe 1 having a water removing part 2 on the way thereof and having a vertical drain pipe 3 provided thereto so as to be extended from the water removing part to the ground is repaired, a hard plastic tube 4 subjected to collapsing processing so that the outer diameter thereof is reduced from the original cross section thereof is inserted in the existing gas pipe 1 at ordinary temp. or in a heated and softened state. Next, plugs 5, 6 are attached to both ends of the tube 4 and steam is introduced into the tube 4 from a supply passage 5a to be discharged from a discharge passage 6a. In this process, the tube 4 is heated and cured to be restored to its original shape to cover the inner peripheral surface of the existing gas pipe 1. Thereafter, the water removing part 2 is packed with a filter 7 through the vertical pipe 3 and the tube part 4 in the water removing part 2 is protected.</p> |
