PURPOSE:To improve the quality of blade and carry out an accurate process by applying mesh-shape perforation in advance to a position corresponding to a chopper folding line before cutting a web in a stretching status between tension rollers and cutting drums in the device of a rotary press. CONSTITUTION:A web 11 is sent to a mesh-shape perforating device 12 by tension rollers 10 and mesh-shape perforation 25 is processed in the running direction of the web 11. Then, the web is guided between a cutting drum 33 and a cut receiving drum 34 and cut to a prescribed length in the orthogonal direction to the mesh-shape perforation 25 so as to become a section 23. This section 23 is folded to a section 36 on a folding line position 22 by a folding device. Meantime, as the perforation 25 is processed in a laterally symmetric status on the folding line position 22, the perforation 25 of upper and lower pieces 37, 38 come to the just same position respectively. Accordingly, the generation of a defective section can be prevented. |
