<p>PURPOSE:To enable recording and reproduction without using any cassette adapter by providing a cassette holding means with a small-sized tape cassette guide member which guides a small-sized tape cassette to a specific height- directional position. CONSTITUTION:When a standard tape cassette 22 is inserted into a cassette holding part 1, a small-sized tape cassette guide member 8a is pressed by the front surface part 23 of the standard tape cassette 22 to rotate on a shaft 7 implanted in a top surface plate 4 and move from a position shown by a dotted line to a position shown by a solid line. Further, when the insertion of the standard tape cassette 22 is completed, the small-sized tape cassette guide member 8a further moves forward. Then the moving means of the cassette holding part 1 performs exactly the same operation with the insertion of a small-sized tape cassette to load the standard tape cassette 22 in a magnetic recording and reproduction device main body.</p> |
