PURPOSE:To improve the reliability and the maintenance property of an optical disk device by cleaning simultaneously the objective lens, the laser emitting window and the covering glass covering an incident window of the optical disk device having a separation type optical system from the outside of the device. CONSTITUTION:This device is provided with a casing 23 having roughly the same part as the external size of a cartridge, a first cleaning member 28 provided on a position coming into contact, with the objective lens in the state of being loaded on a recording and reproducing device, a second cleaning member 26 provided on a position coming into contact with the covering glass and moving means 31, 32 moving the first cleaning member and the second cleaning member. Then, a slope 27a is provided on a member holding the first, the second cleaning members and this device is constituted so that the slope and a transfer base are abutted on and the transfer base is moved. The brush for the objective lens and the brush for cleaning the covering glass are moved simultaneously from the outside and an optical component is cleaned effectively and the reliability and the maintenance property of the optical disk device are maintained and improved. |
