PURPOSE: To eliminate a need of a list showing telephone numbers and e-mail addresses by sending a specifically encoded document to a facsimile server connected to a network where a destination address is located. CONSTITUTION: When loops 1 to 3 of subscribers enter into a user office, they take facsimile capable modems 4 to 6 as terminals. Modems 4 to 6 are connected to a computer 7 and are called facsimile servers together with executed software. The computer 7 is suitable for a network 8, and this network 8 has many users 9 to 11. A facsimile sever which receives a message examines a first page of input facsimile to confirm the position of a head converted to a bar code. If a 'TO:' head is found, an e-mail address corresponding to its is determined, and facsimile is automatically delivered to an addressed person as an e-mail on the network.
