PURPOSE:To prevent a page from being skipped by the instantaneous interruption of teletext signals or the missing of received data caused by burst error in the case of paging display. CONSTITUTION:When extracting the data packets of superimposed teletext signals and storing them in the memory of a control part during the vertical flyback period of a video signal, continuous indexes contained in the starting part of the data packet are confirmed and when the missing of those continuous index signals is detected, page data in the middle of reception are ignored. When the header part of teletext data under reception is detected, the memory address of the data memory is stored in a temporary pointer together with a program number page number contained in the header part and only when the missing of the continuous indexes is not detected until detecting the next header part, the contents of the temporary pointer are transferred to the program page column of a memory data managing table. |
