PURPOSE:To improve a real time characteristic and operability in a debugger by adopting data decided through the progress of a program as reference data of a data comparing part. CONSTITUTION:A data operation part 5 operating variable data (b) and prescribed fixed data (c) and generating operation data d1, the data comparison part 6 comparing comparison reference data (d) including operation data d1 as at least a part with inputted comparison object data (a) and outputting a compared result and a data update part 7 updating the value of variable data (b) by at least a part a1 of comparison object data (a) after comparison are combined. In such a case, variable data (b) is updated by at least a part a1 of comparison object data (a) and operation data d1 by variable data (b) and fixed data (c) is updated after the comparison of reference data (d) and comparison object data (a) in the data comparison part 6. Thus, reference data (d) can be decided from comparison object data and fixed data in accordance with the progress of the program.
