PURPOSE:To reduce the shortage of exposure at the leading edge of an original caused by the change of the rise time of an exposing lamp. CONSTITUTION:This device is provided with a photodetecting means 112a detecting the illuminating light quantity of exposing lamp 112; an exposing and scanning controlling means turning on the exposing lamp 112 when TL elapses after receiving a scanning starting signal and driving a scanning carriage when TS elapses after receiving the scanning starting signal and a timing controlling means complying with the illuminating light quantity of the means 112a after a specified timing from the TL and renewing the TL to be short when the illuminating light quantity of the means 112a is small. |
