<p>PURPOSE:To provide a reliable, and safe high voltage transformer without a defect in dielectric strength for use in a discharge-lamp lighting device, by generating a positive/negative high-voltage without a phase shift in a high voltage waveform. CONSTITUTION:A high voltage transformer includes a first bobbin 20 having a plurality of winding grooves 20b located at a leg of a magnetic core 23. A first winding 10 is wound on each winding groove 20b in the first bobbin 20, and the longer one of end lines skip over one or several grooves 20b to draw both turning ends in the same direction. The high-voltage transformer also includes second windings 11a and 11b separated right and left at a second bobbin 21 embedded in the first winding 10 and the windings 11a and 11b are each made up of a plurality of divided regular windings.</p> |
