<p>Suspensions of cell-membrane fusible lipids are capable of delivering antigens directly to the cytoplasm of host cells, bypassing the normal endocytic pathway. This results in more efficient presentation of the antigen in the context of the host cell class I MHC protein, which in turn provides class I MHC-restricted cytotoxic T cell immunity.</p> |
